.RQM is the definition of ubiquity. Lyricist, writer, emcee, performer etc. etc. He recently blew Missy Elliot’s sub-woofers to bits – literally – while rocking a show with Stereotyp and Al Haca at a festival in Malaysia in front of 7000 people. Sorry Missy!! Hand picked by the Stereo Mcs he joined them for the German leg of their tour alongside Robot Koch of Jahcoozi as The Tape vs RQM. He also shared stages with Buraka Som Sistema, M.I.A., The Rapture, Kool Keith, Radio Clit, Peter Kruder, The Cool Kids – just to name the most obvious of them – and ripped it on the humble every time. Maryanne Hobbs of BBC1 asked him to brand her show with his mellow polaco-brooklynese slur – you can hear his voice every time you tune into the show. His name appears on over 30 LPs to date including the Jahcoozi, CLP, Mochipet, Stereotyp, Milanese releases and there’s plenty more to come. Currently RQM is working on his solo LP and releasing singles both legally and not so, every few months.
