Since the release of their first album »Creature Funk« in 2003, the creatures have been roaming Europe and a few other regions of the world and released a second album, »Creature Shock Radio«, reaching an ever-widening audience. Today more than ever, the squabbles with humans that have always punctuated the adventures of the Maloke clan are in the limelight. These outrageous and subversive beasts have just put out their third album »Takeover«, which contributes to the spread of the guerrilla movement. During our interview in his Berlin lair, Mister Maloke explained his vision: »The human delivers the energy to the puppet, then he loses consciousness. That is when we, the puppets, can manipulate him. We realised that man, with his desire to maintain control over everything, has lost his connection with objects. What we call the Takeover is the moment when the human forgets his will to control the world. The moment when he lets himself be controlled by the creature within him«.
